I'm Mike van Rossum, a quantitative trader from Amsterdam. My main focus is on trading cryptocurrencies, webprogramming (full stack), datavisualization and linux servers (in the cloud).

In 2013 (while in college) I ventured into automated crypto trading via my open source project Gekko. And after writing my thesis on the financial markets of cryptocurrencies in 2015 my focus completely shifted towards Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency projects.

After 7 years of trading crypto algorithmically (from Mt. Gox to FTX and everything in between) I started Folkvang, my own quant trading firm focussed on crypto. My deep experience with dozens of crypto exchanges and APIs as gives Folkvang a big technological edge over its competitors.
